Partners of the PortForward consortium including delegates from Brunel and Leitat visited the Port of Vigo on 25 and 26 September 2018. The visit was hosted by the Port Authority of Vigo and Termavi, the operator of the container terminal. The visit started on 25 September 2018 by a boat tour of the service areas including the cruise, fishing, RO-RO, and container terminals. Subsequently, participants visited the container terminal and familiarised with its operations. Subsequently, several meetings and presentations were held on 25 and 26 September to discuss details of operations at container terminal and sustainability considerations at the Port of Vigo.
