PortForward was presented on the annual event about key and urgent issues for the port business which took place in Stockholm on September 4-6, 2019. This year’s event offered the participants an in-depth view into the current trends driving the global economy and its impact on the port market and helped answer the questions behind the main factors defining a smart port. Stefanos Kokkorikos from the Core Innovation – Dissemination, Communication, and Exploitation Manager of the project – presented PortForward on the third day of the event under the title »Towards a green and sustainable ecosystem for the EU Port of the Future« in the session »Ports as the cradles of innovation«.
